Two Year Photoshoot

I took Kaeden to a new photo studio that opened up right near me. Can I just tell you how cute I think Fotofly is? These people seriously have a good thing going. And they are so affordable.

After seeing how little Janer's photos turned out, I was so excited to get Kaeden in.

Unfortunately Kaeden didn't harbor the same sentiment.

The second we started trying to take pictures, Kaeden wasn't having it.

He wouldn't let Jeff or I go. Something he never does.

Between Jeff, me, my mom, the photographer, and the owner, there was nothing the group of us could do silly enough to break Kaeden out of his mood.

The first shot came from the photographer saying, "Do you think he might just stand there if you hold his hand?"

Apparently the answer was "yes", but he that didn't mean he'd be happy about it.

Even though he was being difficult, he did warm up after awhile and allowed us to step away from him. Did that mean that he'd smile though? No.

Every time a new prop came out, Kaeden would play on it for a second, but not really give the photographer anything she could work with.

Most the time it involved him trying to exit said prop as quick as humanly possible.

The real fun came when we pulled out this white couch for him to sit on. Kaeden was in heaven. He was jumping, rolling around, and just being plain crazy. The only problem, he was doing it all in a manner where he was hiding from the camera.

Somehow the photographer still managed to capture a few cute shots of him on the couch.

And this one where he was surprised by the air conditioner kicking on.

Still no smile though, because you know, that might actually prove he was having some fun.

He then decided that he wanted to go play with the brick wall and door setup. He insisted on putting keys in the lock to try to open the door.

Again the photographer somehow captured a few cute ones, albeit, no smile.

Oh, and did I ever mention how dorky my son is? Because he totally did this all on his own. Helllllloooooooo Ladies!

Overall I was kind of disappointed in how Kaeden took to the photoshoot, because Fotofly killed it when it came to Jane's pictures. Honestly, I'm surprised we walked away with any decent photos. It. Was. That. Bad.

But there were definitely a few that were my favorites.

But this one, by far is my absolute fav. This picture just captures everything Kaeden is right now. Mischievous, fun, quirky, and always JUMPING. This is so HIM!
