The roller rink where we bought summer passes for Kaeden's birthday also has a little waterpark. It's mostly ghetto, but for a two year old, any water is fun.
We took Kaeden there, and it was the best thing ever. He loved it!
At first he just looked around like, "What is this place?" as he begrudgingly let me slather him in sunscreen.
And then we were off.
We started in the kiddie pool. Big hit.
He took a moment to take it all in and understand what all the other kids were doing, and then he was game.
He had fun on the little kiddie slide,
and most the time was just rushing to get back into the water.
He also loved the water spouts. But probably because his daddy made them so fun.
That screaming laugh is my favorite.
We got a little brave and took Kaeden on some of the bigger mat slides with us. It was fun, but they were a little more rambunctious, and sometimes Jeff and I struggled to keep him stable as we rocked back in forth in the tubes.
So we headed back for something a little more calm.
Jeff and Kaeden went down this giant blow up slide, and from the looks of it, they had fun.
So much so, that Kaeden decided to ditch daddy at the top the next time around.
Kids are the best. They allow you to relive all the favorite parts of your childhood, but through their eyes.
I love this face. The end.
