First Time at the Movies

Kaeden has had a pretty awesome weekend.

He's had non-stop attention from Grandpa and Baybee [my dad and step-mom], as well as Aunt Annie and Uncle Max [my brother and sister].

And to make things better, he got to go see his first movie in the movie theater!

And it was 3D!

And it was the Katy Perry movie!!!!!

You know....his idol.

True story:  my dad casually mentions that he wanted to see the Katy Perry movie.  We all thought he was kind of joking until he took his confession a bit further admitting he would have just gone to see it himself some time if he wouldn't have felt a little bit like a creepster all alone in the theater.

One mention of Katy's name and Kaeden's eyes lit up.

So the plan was set.

Kade did pretty well in the movie.  He got a little antsy in the middle where there was more documentary, and not as much singing.  But then the 3D bubbles floating around brought his attention back.  The movie ended with his two favorite songs...Firework and California Gurls.  He was pretty much in heaven.

And of course, he was adorable in his glasses.

Can't wait to take him to another movie.  Perhaps something in the children's genre next time.
