Let Him Eat Cake!

Even though I primarily work from home, every now and then we'll have a work meeting or something that requires my mom and I [she's my assistant - convenient, right?] to load up the boys and wonder what type of nightmare it will be trying to keep both kids entertained while remaining somewhat professional. I say somewhat because.... let just be real.

Today we headed to Cheesecake Factory for a meeting. Both boys were pretty good. Kaeden was his shy, quiet self. I laughed out loud when I saw my mom going over a menu with him trying to find him something he wanted to eat. Bottom line. Kid does not eat. There are like 5 items in his arsenal of approved food, and trust me, NONE of them are on the Cheesecake Factory's extensive menu.

As she was flipping through the book he suddenly points to a page and says, "I want THAT!".

And because my mom is a sucker, she ordered it for him.

So as all our plates of scrumptious lunch food came out, so did Kaeden's GIANT plate of cake.

The kid thought he was pretty cool.

My mom thought she was the ultimate grandma.

Win-Win I guess.

I'm sure Kaeden will be happy to attend any future lunch meetings from here on out.
