We journeyed up to visit the Zoo Lights at Hogle Zoo this year. While not as impressive as say, Temple Square, the Zoo Lights did not disappoint.
First step: Bundle up the babies.
And then let the fun begin:
[When exactly did a dragon become a zoo animal? Or and animal at all for that matter?]
And lastly, don't forget to stop for treats. Especially when the treats include deep fried s'mores.

I hear they were pretty good. I only got a few bites bites of mine because this little boy pretty much took it over:
As we walked around to enjoy the lights, I was constantly greeted with this face when I looked down. "MORE S'MORE!" Only he can't talk, but clearly his eyes are saying "NOW!"
Kaeden has a thing for Christmas lights. When we drive anywhere he is constantly gasping [literally] and then ooo-ing and awe-ing while pointing to whatever lights he might have spotted. It basically looks like this:
And I love every minute of it.
I also love every minute of my family.
It was a nice night, with nice lights, nice treats, and equally as nice company:

That looks like so much fun! I am so excited for next year when Naomi will ooo and aaahhh at more than her little bug that hangs from her bouncer :)
