You cannot deny that this is BEAUTIFUL!
Saturday night we made a quick trip up to Temple Square to enjoy the lights for the first time with Kaeden.
On our way up there, I was searching the web on my phone trying to figure out the best settings to photograph Christmas lights. Unfortunately it was also VERY foggy that night, so I was challenged by all the light reflecting off the heavy fog in the air as well. I think the fog added a special touch to many of the pictures though.
See what I mean?
And now for the lights...
The grounds were covered in primarily orange and gold colored lights. It was amazing to see. It looked like the world was on fire.
Kaeden was enamored by the reflection pond.
I would like to think it was because of the beautiful Nativity scene, and his whole understanding of the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
But....I realize it was just the water. In fact, Jeff spent the night trying to pull Kaeden out of the water.
But the Nativity scene WAS beautiful.
And here is a picture of what I was told was the "famous" red tree:
Unfortunately, for the most part, Kaeden wasn't too happy. It was cold, crowded, and he refused to keep his gloves on. Let's be honest though. He was really only unhappy because we wouldn't let him run willy-nilly around. I know. The nerve.
And here's our best attempt at a family picture.
Wishing all of you the best this Holiday Season!
