Wheeler Farm

This Summer we made a few trips to Wheeler Farm.

It's a pretty neat little place to take the kids for a quick outing and some fresh air.

We mostly go there to walk around, see the animals, and feed these dirty creatures:

They kinda creep me out.

Especially the geese. They don't understand personal space. And then when they are all up in yours, they're like, "Whatcha doin' on my turf?" and they attack.

Seriously. I've had to fight a few off with a stick. I was once even bit by one.  It has scarred me for life.

I do not trust those creatures one bit.

Especially this guy:

He stood there the whole time giving me the stink eye and threatening me if I didn't give him food. Creeped. Me. Out.

I think he was staring me down to say, "Hey Lady! Why don't you tell your kid to stop eating that bread and throw some my way?"

I'll admit.  He had a point.

Our trips to Wheeler Farm were usually accompanied by these people:

I seriously love each one of these people. GOOD People.

In fact, we've joked that life would probably be much more convenient if we combined families. It would look something like this:

But for now I think I'll just be happy with these two:

Meredith and I also always joke about needing to take lots of pictures for Kaeden and Jane's wedding video. You know. True love since they were in diapers and all that jazz. Too bad getting a decent picture of them both is as elusive as spotting the loch ness monster. Observe:

And who knows if Jane will ever come around to the idea of marrying Kaeden. I mean, right now she can barely stand him. I give you the anatomy of Kaeden and Jane's interactions:

Maybe one day they'll come around.

And in closing: I LOVE THIS BOY. The end.

How fun! This almost tempts me to leave the house tomorrow. I've been such a recluse. I always love your posts.
