I'm Secretly Jealous

While my Texas Family was in town, it was mentioned that my lil sis has somewhat of an interest in photography, and has even considered studying it in college one day. My thoughts: "Cool. At least she's found something that she is becoming passionate about and that makes her happy."

Then I saw her pics she has on her Flikr account, and I was floored! Girl's got "the eye" people! These were taken with a point-and-shoot camera. She lives on a ranch, so I'm assuming that's where some of the scenery pics come from, but wow! I know I may be slightly biased, but everyone I've shown some of these pics to agrees....she's got some talent.

So to Annie I say... if photography makes you happy, stick with it. When you get to be my age (he,he, as if I'm soooo old!) it's hard to keep the things you love to do a constant part of your life. You can be my personal photographer one day...capturing every one of life's simple nuances...only thing...the pay is low (zero), but the rewards are great (being around me all the time). In all seriousness, I'm jealous of your talent at such a young age!





I love these candids of Kade. Still want her to tell me how she captured these on the point-and-shoot. I'm stumped.




And I love, love, love this one! I've been wanting to capture little details of my baby boy like this forever, and this one is just so perfect!
