We Did It!

We finally did it! We got our house up for sale. It officially went up for sale on Saturday morning. Since then I've had about 8 calls from agents eager to represent me (vultures), and a few emails from our online forums that we've decided to advertise on.

Tonight I was thrilled to get our first legit walk-through. A lady and her husband came through and seemed to really love the place. They are currently renting a home that backs the freeway on the other side of Lehi, so our home really appealed to them. They loved the yard, deck, layout, HOA, etc. They said they would know by the end of the week what they would be approved for financing wise, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. We've priced in a way that we have a significant amount of wiggle room, so I hope someone comes in and makes an offer that they think we would never take, and then we just say, "Do you need any help moving?" I don't want to get my hopes to high (honestly, who sells to the first people who show interest, especially in this market?), but it's kind of nice to have some hope. I would love to be moved out before little boy comes! Keep your fingers crossed too!
