Wii Have a Problem

So the radio show I listen to on my way into work was talking about a website called wiihaveaproblem.com where users of the site have posted various videos and stories about how the Nintendo Wii has taken over their life and caused personal and property damage. It's pretty funny to see. There's a video of someone's really expensive flat screen TV taking a hit from a Wii remote that had flown out of an over zealous player's hand. There also a story about a guy who injured his cat after he lost control of his remote.

We bought the Wii a few weeks ago for Jeff's birthday (nevermind that his birthday isn't until Feb!). I myself am not into video games, but the Wii is not your average video game. It is so fun! We only have the sports pack that comes with the console, but it provides hours of entertainment (and exercise). My mom has even gotten in on the excitement. She is a Wii fanatic (she now even has her own remote). One thing you have to understand about Traci's playing though....she is really good at playing (especially tennis), but that's probably because she treats it as if she is playing a real match on a full tennis court. Jeff has joked that we need to put down some rubber protection on our carpet before Traci runs a hole in it from running all around. Below is a little treat for you all. I snapped a pic right in the middle of one of Traci's serves. Can't you just picture the ball in one hand, and a racket in the other? She threatened me with my life, and then visitation if I posted it, but since she hasn't bothered to log onto the blog to this point, I figure I'm safe. Enjoy!

Oh! And let's not forget that Milo hates the Wii. When the start up music begins he is right there, jumping, biting, and growling at the screen. We haven't quite figured out what his problem is. He's never had a problem with the Xbox, but something about this Wii doesn't sit right with him. Dorky Yorkie!
