I Cannot Wait!

Sleep has been elusive lately. I'm always tired, but don't sleep well. I'm told that naps would make me feel better, but if I take a nap and am lucky enough to fall asleep, I don't wake up in time to not ruin a full night's sleep. It's weird how this little four inch being in my body has completely taken over!

I'm now to the point in my pregnancy where I am supposed to avoid doing anything flat on my back--including sleeping. I usually sleep on one of my sides anyway, so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. Well.. little Apple (the size of the baby this week) has decided to even change the way I sleep comfortably. I am restless most of the night, tossing and turning from one side to the other. I do have a body pillow that I've used for years (in fact, I can't sleep without it, much to Jeff's disappointment), but it's just not doing the trick. I'll wake up in the middle of the night flat on my back and think to myself "How did this happen?"

I'm hoping the cure to my quandaries will be here within the week. Pictured above is a pregnancy sleep pillow (Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be using it long after!). It's supposed to be the best, and support your back regardless of what side you are sleeping on. It looks like heaven on earth to me. I've always wanted one of those huge wrap around body pillows ever since I saw them in a Sky Miles magazine on a Delta flight as a little kid. Here's to hoping it brings me a good night's sleep!!

i am bored .. so i decided to go back to the beginning of ashley blogging life.

i saw this pillow in "relax the back" and told myself that i would own it one day. unfortunately for me, it was $200. i still can't afford it. but one day ... one day i will.

funny how pregnancy takes over. after having korver, my most comfortable way to sleep now is on my back. i hated it before i got knocked up!
