Jeff and I at Delicate Arch in Moab (October, 2007)Hello Everybody! Welcome to our new blog (keep in mind it's completely new---as in new to me, and I have no clue what I'm doing!). I'm sure over time things will continue to get better and better as I play around and figure out just what exactly I am doing.
Things are great in Utah. In fact, things are more than great. Jeff and I are on the back half of our second year of marriage, and we couldn't ask for things to be better. Jeff switched jobs in October, and he's loving every minute of his new gig. He is still in the dental lab industry, and is actually part-owner, Vice President of Implants, and on the board of directors of his new lab.
I'm still doing the daily grind at Alta Ridge. I do all the accounting for a few assisted livings and a home health and hospice company. I love my job. Perhaps that is because I work with such great people, and for the best boss you could ever ask for. It really gives you a great feeling when you know you don't dread going to work (thank goodness I think Jeff has found that too!).
In other big news.....we're pregnant! Okay, not we, but me of course! We found out shortly after our 2 week cruise to the Mediteranean (No! It's not a cruise baby! Stop saying that!) that I was expecting. I am now about it enter into my 15th week, and have a due date set for June 30th. That's right, smack dab in the middle of the year. I wish I could say that pregnancy has been a breeze, but ...... :) I stick to my mantra though..."It hasn't been easy, but I know it could be a lot worse!" My psuedo-positive attitude has gotten me this far, but if baby doesn't stop making me feel crummy soon, I might start taking hostages. Just Kidding!
We had our second doctor's appointment this week, and are very excited about the fact that we will have our ultrasound to find out the sex on January 31st! That's less than a month away! Make sure to check back on the blog to find out the sex. I'm going to try to rig a flashy way to announce what we're having. Hopefully I can post some ultrasound pics too.
Well that's all for now! Check back often. I plan on posting a bunch of past stuff (i.e. stuff about our cruise, Christmas, etc.), and then move forward. I'll try and post as often as possible, even if it's just random thoughts!

Congrats on the new addition to you family! I am excited for you both. Congrats on the new job Jeff! Did you guys ever get into your new house? I have another year of school then I am done forever! Take care and keep in touch.

We are really excited about being great grandparents!!! Congratulations to Jeff on the new job. We had wondered if it had happened yet. We knew it was supposed to change after your trip.
