Wheeler Farm In the Fall

As always, the weekend comes, and we struggle to think of things to do that are both kid-friendly, and not a total bore for the parents. Not costing an arm and a leg is usually a  top qualification too.

That is why every so often we end up at Wheeler Farm. It's fun for the kids, free, and provides just enough entertainment before the sun goes down.

This time we took a little journey through the farm with the Johnson's.

Since we beat them there, I snapped a few family pics to waste some time.

Jeff absolutely hates this picture of him.  I don't get it.  I think it's a cute one of him and his boys.

To be fair, I'll add this one of myself that I'm not particularly fond of.  Should have worn my black boots.  Didn't want to get them all mucked up in the mud of the farm though.

At least this one won't complain about how he looks.  Besides.  He's friggin' cute.

Ashton, Chase, and Kaeden are at such fun ages right now.  It's fun hanging out with the Johnson boys because Kaeden gets to run around and rough house to a level that Carter is not quite ready for yet.  Don't the three of them look like mini hoodlums in training?

And then there is Carterbabes and his main girl Hadley.  She is such a cutie.  I swear she's always smiling.

I think Carter loves her just a little bit.  This is him leaning in for a kiss, and her not really knowing how she feels about it.

The best part of the night was feeding the ducks and geese.  Kaeden was about to let this goose eat right out of his hand until I freaked out.  Geese are mean, yo!  I'm an idiot.  It probably would have been no big deal, but flashbacks of me being bitten by a goose on the cheek are all I can think about when I'm around geese.  I don't like their confrontational nature, and the way they think they can boss you around.  Yes.  I have issues.

And so another trip to Wheeler Farm was complete.  Sure we'll be back soon.
