Nap Time

At first I was like:

And then I was like:

Your kids don't put themselves down for naps on your kitchen table?

That's probably because your kids don't have a blatant disrespect for the kitchen table, and use it as a mini playground.

True story. We don't even have chairs at our table anymore just to provide that much less of an incentive to get up there.  The chair in the picture?  Someone was using it to eat and forgot to take it back away.  Ahem...Jeff.

And so this story was born...

Carter, who has innate chair seeking skills, found the unprotected chair in about 0.00325 seconds, and  climbed up onto the table.  He spent quite awhile eating  fishies (and suckers - we're real healthy around here) while simultaneously watching TV from across the room. I watched as his hand dipping into the fishies got slower and slower, and then eventually his eyes started drifting.

Seemed peaceful enough.

So I left him there.

If it's comfy enough to lull you to sleep, it's comfy enough to finish that nap.

Amiright?
