December 2nd

Today was a fun task.  We made paper snowflakes.

Kaeden was a natural.  I'd fold the paper for him, and he'd cut out his shapes.  Kaeden made the two snowflakes on the left, the bottom one on the right, and the circular one in the middle.  Not too bad for his first time!

I think he was pretty excited to put his artwork on display.

We asked Jeff to help us out and make one.  I folded the paper for him, and this is what he came up with.

Ummm....what?

Seriously.... what?

His snowflake was so... so... Boring?  Plain?  Crappy?  That I refused to hang it with our beautiful snowflakes.  Kade didn't want Daddy to feel left out, so he hung his snowflake in his bedroom.

I'm still baffled how Jeff came up with this.  It's not even symmetrical.  How does that even happen?!?
