My grandpa recently had knee replacement surgery, and after being released to his own room, Kaeden joined my mom and I on a visit to see how he was doing.
Kaeden was very curious about everything in the cramped room. Above all else, he was concerned for his "Gampa's" well-being.
Every day Kaeden would ask me if we could go see Gampa again. When walking up to a medical building for one of Kaeden's dentist appointments he even said, "Oh Mommy! We go see Gampa!" He thought we were back at the hospital.
So Kaeden was beyond excited when we finally got to go visit grandpa when he was released to go home. Kade wanted nothing more than to see his Gampa, make sure he was okay, and even snuggle with him.
I think having Kaeden around even brightened my Grandpa's day a little. He volunteered to give Kaeden rides on his rehabilition machine as I nervously watched wincing. I was so afraid that wiggly boy would cause some damage!
Apparently I'm the only one who worries about that sort of thing. If you can't tell from his huge smile, Kaeden thought he'd scored another ticket to Disneyland.
