Well. I did it. I made my boys wear themed costumes this year. Kaeden loves everything Mario Brothers, so it was a pretty easy choice.
Introducing Mini Mario and Luigi!
Hey Mario...You know where we could score some milk around here?
We all know that Mario is the dominant brother and Luigi is his side kick. That is, everyone but Kaeden. He absolutely wanted to be Luigi. I think he makes a pretty cute Luigi.
We spent Halloween night at our neighbors house for a neighborhood party. As it got dark we loaded the boys up in the stroller and headed out trick or treating.
Our shy Kaeden took some coaxing to going up and ringing the doorbell at the first few houses,
but after a couple of houses he got the hang of it and was off on his own.
Carterbabes on the other hand, he couldn't do anything but sit on the porch.
We trick or treated for just a short while, but Kaeden really scored. I think he was pretty happy with his haul.
Let the sugar high begin.
Kaeden hasn't reached an age where he understands that there is a hierarchy of candy quality. Meaning he doesn't understand that anything with chocolate trumps all others.
Needless to say, Jeff and I take full advantage of that. I'm going to miss this when he starts developing a pallet for treats and realizes we've been cheating him all these years. In the meantime...YUM!
