I sent Jeff this camera pic while he was away on a business trip.

With it I requested that he keep in mind:

1. I only gave in to Kaeden's incessant requests for painted nails because I was too tired for an all out fight

2. I only let him paint one hand, and

3. Regardless, Kaeden would make a beautiful girl.

After snapping the picture I could not believe how gorgeous Kaeden looked in the shot.

His cheeks are all rosy,

His eyes look especially sparkly,

and his lashes are all long an luxurious.

Jeff's reply back?

"When did our kid start looking exactly like Chris Kattan?"

Kaeden's been having a little bit of gender-identity issues lately.

Mostly he doesn't understand why GIRLS get:

* Nailpolish.

* Sparkles.

* Jewelry.

* Pretty Dresses.

* and High Heeled Shoes.

I so desperately want to point out to him that it probably has something to do with the fact that we also get:

* Periods.

* PMS.

* Childbirth.

* Subcutaneous Layers of Fat

* and Men.

I think some favoring for females in the accessory department is only fair.

If I raise him right, maybe one day he'll think so too.
