This week Carter got his highly anticipated taste of real "food".
Well, if you call flaky rice cereal with a shot of boob milk "real" food.
I'd be willing to say he does because unlike Kaeden, Carter was into it from the first spoonful.
But in Kaeden's defense....this time we actually had the right kind of rice cereal.
You know. The rice cereal you get on the baby aisle.
Not the rice cereal you get from the breakfast aisle.
Sorry Kade. You'll always be the "practice baby."
And speaking of Kaeden, big brother was sure to be right in on the action.
I mean right in. As in sitting on the counter right next to Carter.
Like I said, Carter was into this from the first bite.
He immediately understood that when the spoon approaches, you open wide to get it all in.
Needless to say, I think this big boy is just going to continue to get bigger.
But it wasn't all rainbows and unicorns.
Wait for it... Wait for it...
Yep! There it is. The What-The-Crap-Are-You-Doing-To-Me Freak Out. Okay... it might have been a Why-Is-This-Chick-Always-Up-In-My-Grill-With-That-Black-Thing Freak Out.
Who's to say, really?
Don't worry though. He came back around. Each night he enjoyed it more and more.
Especially when his fingers got in on the action.
Welcome to a whole new world little buddy.
Next up. Veggies!
