A Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween

Any of you who knows Kaeden knows he is kinda of in a Yo Gabba Gabba love fest right now.

What is Yo Gabba Gabba?

Oh, just a kid show that I'm pretty sure was created by a bunch of people smoking crack.

But it is entertaining.

So what better for Kaeden to be for Halloweeen than DJ Lance Rock?

DJ Lance Rock is a main character on the show. He has a psychedelic boom box that opens up and brings five monster-like characters to life. There is Muno, Foofa, Plex, Brobee, and Toodee. Remember what I said about crack?

I found a DJ Lance Rock costume online for Kaeden and decided to go with it. Doesn't matter that DJ Lance Rock is a black man, and all the promo material for the costume showed it on a little black boy.

We are all about Equal Opportunity, no?

I decided to get creative with Kaeden's trick-or-treat bag.

Instead of a bag, I decided he needed an official DJ Lance Rock Boombox!

I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

Kaeden pretty much thought it was amazing.

Isn't he adorable?

Everything turned out perfect, other than the fact that I did have some last minute alterations to make. The hat that came with the costume was made for a kid's size head.

We all know Kaeden does not have a kid's size head.

So after letting the hat out a little, we were ready to go.

For Halloween night we met up with the Johnson's, and our little DJ Lance Rock got the pleasure of escorting the cutest Tinkerbell around town.

Jane had the trick-or-treating thing down.  Kaeden required a little bit of training.

Sure love this boy.

And his Dad is not too bad either.
