Yep. It's Gonna Be All About the Boy for Awhile...

So in my blog absence, I gathered up a bunch of new material to blog about [imagine that].

The only thing is, it's all about Boy [my boss's name for Kaeden].

I know that might turn some of you off,

but after all, he is the purpose of this blog in the first place.

So yeah. This is "just another mommy blog".

I don't really understand when those became such ugly words.

I mean he's really the most blog-worthy thing I've got going.

Unless you'd like me to talk about crunching numbers.

I didn't think so.

Anyhoodle, for those of you still interested, join me as we take a stroll over the next few posts down Kaeden's [developmental] memory lane.

Let's start of with the two biggies:

On Valentine's Day, while sitting around with my friend-mommies, I was discussing how Kaeden hadn't started to cut teeth. So I stick a finger in his mouth to prove that nothing was even coming, and lo and behold. There it was. One little tooth cut through.

Nevermind that I also talked about how Kaeden hadn't started babbling [you know mamamama, babababa, dadada], and of course he starts doing that the next day too. I hope this isn't a sign of more defiant times to come.

Within days that little sprout of a tooth quickly became two. I caught this rare glimpse of them in a pic.

Love them. Love the attitude too.

Of course, it didn't take long until those sharp little things developed into this.

And now his two upper teeth have made an appearance. I don't anticipate capturing those in pictures anytime soon. He guards those things like Fort Knox. Let me just tell you though...they're H-U-G-E!

The other biggie is that Kaeden has become a full-blown mobile machine.

He went from an awkward scoot,

to army crawl,

to crawling fool in a matter of a week.

Now he climbs full flights of stairs ... in a blink of an eye.

Kid has no fear. Mom has tons.

There is no doubt this little boy is becoming a toddler. We anticipate him walking soon since he has been cruising for quite some time, and experiments with standing and stepping more and more.

Trust me. He has the bumps and bruises to prove it.

My life is full of BUMP! WAHHH! BUMP! WAHHH!

But I wouldn't have it any other way.
