You'd think that since I never have much to blog about that I would jump on completing my tags. Yeah, you'd think. But that's not how I roll. I'd rather wait a month or two. That way, when I do the tag, I can just do it, and you won't really bother to go look and see if I really got tagged, or if I'm just some crazy person who pretends to get tagged/receive "blog awards" all the time. You know who/what I'm talking about.
First up, I have the Six Random Things Tag, from the beautiful and talented Michelle [no, I've never met her, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I think she's amazing nonetheless]. I've done the Seven Random Things Tag, so if your interested, revisit it here.
Here are the rules:
1) Link to the person who tagged you
2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6)
3) Write 6 random things about yourself
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them
5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog
6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up…
[one] I absolutely hate when people use x-mas for the word Christmas. Even if I find it easier to write x-mas [cringe] while doing something, I will go out of my way to spell it all out. Let's not take Christ out of Christmas people [especially to replace him with an 'x'].
[two] I have a photographic memory. I can visually recall things in the wierdest ways. When I was in high school/college I learned to exploit this skill by writing all my notes in multi-colored pens and on various parts of the paper. That way, while taking a test, I could recall the portion of paper the answer was written on in my notes, and the color of pen it was written in. From there I could recall nearly everything from my notes word-for-word. It was like having a cheat sheet appear in my head.
[three] I know how to barefoot waterski. My aunt and uncle are really into watersports, and if you didn't participate in a watersport, you weren't allowed on the boat. The year I finally learned how to [regular] ski, they switched to barefooting. I'm not the best, but I can handle myself off the boom.
[four] I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, but when I do eat it, I like it soupy. Not just stirred up soupy, but micowaved soupy. You say gross...I say delightful.
[five] I have this "thing" about dry fingertips. I cannot handle it when myfingertips are not moisturized [wierd, I know]. This often causes me to lick my fingertips, so if you ever catch me doing it...now you know.
[six] If I had my dream job, I would be a professional organizer. I saw a lady on Oprah when I was younger [like jr. high] who owned her own organizng business, and I have wanted to do it ever since. This lady would go into people's homes/offices/etc and just go room by room and reorganize everything. Complete with bins, systems, color-coding, and lists. I would be in absolute HEAVEN if I did that for my job. Organizing gives me such satisfaction when I'm done. I sometimes think that is why I enjoy what I do for a living so much. I don't organize 'things', but instead I organize information to make it accessible and understandable. [since many of you have asked, I'm planning on doing a post about what I do for a living in the near future]
Now for those who I tag......since pretty much everyone I read has done this once or twice, I tag whomever feels so inclined to do it. Even if you've done it before, there's got to be more random things to tell about yourself. What? There's not? What are you? A log? C'mon, humor me. I love getting to know more about you.

I once posted 308 things about me. I refuse to do any more little things like this haha. It took such a long time, and I'm a little traumatized because of it.
one of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when people take Christ out of Chritmas!
Oh Ash... I am so sorry. I am totally guilty of using the "x-mas" word. After reading your opinion about it I SWEAR TO NEVER SAY, WRITE, OR EVEN THINK IT AGAIN! Swear. No seriously though, you have such a good point. Thanks for the reality check!! :)
I don't know is this will make you feel better, but the Greek symbol for Christ is an X, hence the abbreviation. I still don't like it myself, but once I learned that, I didn't find it as offensive.
And I can't believe you know how to waterski barefoot! That's awesome.
Oh, and I do miss hearing from you! Your comments always make me smile. But I know you're still a faithful reader. Thanks for being a great cyber-BFF!
I didn't know what Kristina just informed you of..., but I still don't like the X instead of Christ as well. I like the word, "Christmas" because of the first part of that word. :)
I'm so interested in you! (did that sound super wierd?) but your so interesting! A photographic memory?? (jealousy) and you LOVE to organize??(jealousy - AGAIN) All qualities I WISH I had. Someday you can come over to my home and show me how to really organize. I'd make it worth your while somehow. :) We could make a trade - your expertise for some crafts that I do. Probably the stars I like to make - which I plan on posting someday.... when I make some more :) But no one ever wants to drive clear to Rexburg - I'm a ways away... blah
