Jeff has found a new favorite way to pass time. He has made it a hobby to prank call our [now] nine-year-old niece on her cell phone. I think it might be his way of dealing with the fact that we both felt really old [like our parents] when we had the same reaction to hearing about a nine-year-old with a cell phone. It sounded something like, "When I was nine years old...yada, yada, yada."
Anyway...Jeff began his new game by calling our niece and pretending to be Hannah Montana. Apparently this is someone she despises. This was then followed up by a call from Selena Gomez [another Disney darling]. Selena got a little better of a reception. However, Jeff's best call [in his opinion] was a call made from the Jonas Brothers. Only problem was, Jeff has no clue what any of their names are. So he pulled out "Gary" [seriously? Gary?].
When our niece commented that there wasn't a Gary Jonas, Jeff let her know that he was a lesser known Jonas Brother, but that he did indeed exist. In fact, he made a showing on her Ninth Birthday Card this weekend.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Gary Jonas. [He's the hot one].
