Another Post without a Pic

I'm getting bad at this! I hate the posts that don't have a pic. The least I could do is give you somthing to look at!

I thought that since it had been awhile, I would try to give a little of an update on our lives.

Things are good. I don't know if I already posted something about this, but I've been leaving Milo at home (much better at work!). He started out in the "condo" (Kytah's big kennel), but I have since changed him back to his small kennel (the "Bargain Hound"). That was the trick! Apparently the big kennel freaks the lil' guy out. Everyday we would come home and he had peed all over himself. I thought I was being humane by giving him more space to move, but apparently dogs do better in more confining spaces. Milo does really well in his little kennel when we go out and run errands, but I didn't think he would be comfy for 8-11 hours per day. Who knew? He does great in there. He doesn't potty, he comes out and is excited to see us, but isn't crazy the rest of the night, and he's doing a little better about sleeping through the night. Emphasize the word little. :)

Jeff has his first softball game tonight. I'm sad I can't play this year. It's a lot of fun. Oh well, I'll just have to settle being a spectator. One day little baby Kade will be here to keep me company (still the working name for now). I'm debating whether or not I'm going to the first game tonight (I've got about 30 more mins to decide). It is so cold here right now! On Sunday temps reached into the 80's, and then by Tuesday it was snowing again. Crazy Utah weather. Luckily the weekend is supposed to be warm again, but into next week possible snow. I was loving the sunshine!

I've wanted to post a pic of the pretty flower baskets my mom helped me find. She thought my front yard could use a little color to try and help it sell. We found these awesome baskets for a good deal at Wally World (Walmart). They really do make our front yard look a little "summer-like." Unfortunately it has been so cold that I haven't been able to put them back outside ever since I got the idea to get a pic. Oh well!

Things are going good at work for both Jeff and I. Busy as ever, but no complaints! I am however reaching the point in my pregnancy where I'm just "uncomfortable." I can't pinpoint what is uncomfy, just everything feels "blah." It's somewhat mild (at least compared to what I would imagine it will become), but I will admit it's getting a little rough. Nothing like being sick though, so I'm greatful for that! Belly is getting big. Another pic of that coming soon too. I'm still getting comments about how big I'm going to be after another 2.5 months. Lil' man is going to be huge!

Jeff and I are taking a little getaway this weekend. We're leaving Sunday to have a quick trip to Vegas. I'm not all that into Vegas like Jeff is, but the hotel we are staying at has a pool that is supposed to be like the beach, so I'm hoping I can convince myself that I am at the beach. I need some of that sunshine and some relaxation! I know Jeff is really looking forward to the time off too.

No news on our house. We're going to talk to a possible agent when we get back. He's a guy who lives in our neighborhood and is part of a big team centered in Highland, UT (just across the freeway from us). We're going to see what he thinks he can do for us, and see if it sounds agreeable. I hope he can get this house sold. I wouldn't say that our results thus far have been too bad given the market, but I'd rather get help, get out, and start over, rather than wait any longer to see what happens. If only we would have sold a year ago! We were so worried about the windfall tax though. Guess you can't predict the future!

Last bit of news....my mom and I got the fabric ordered for the baby bedding. It finally went on sale, but we were shocked when we were told how long it would take to get to us. Lame. We've lined up a back-up helper in case it comes in too late and it's too overwhelming for me. The colors are a chocolate brown and cream. Sound boring, but it's going to be oh so cute! I'm really excited. If everything turns out how it's supposed to, I am going to have a baby bedding set to rival the celebrities. JK.

Well, more posts to come. Sorry for the long journal entries as of late. I find myself becoming rather lazy lately, but at least I have the pregnancy to blame. I'm sure the old me will come back around sometime.
