Sorry for the Delay

Can't believe it's been 10 days since I posted! Time is flying which makes me a little nervous about my laid back attitude about how much time I have left before the baby comes. I think I need to get my buns in gear!

Not much new at our household. Still working away the day, and spending the weekends on the house. I hate to put this out there.....but I think we are getting close to putting it up for sale! The weather has warmed up here, and the motivation to get things done has returned! Yeah!

With the warm weather I have also been enjoying nice walks each evening for the last few days. Jeff joins me on his bike (apparently I walk to fast for him), but it's been nice to get out and get some fresh air and exercise. It's funny though. The only muscles that ever feel like they are getting a workout are the ones in my belly. My stomach gets so tight, and everything else just feels normal. Weird.

I hope the warmer weather sticks around and continues to improve. It's amazing how much weather changes everything. It's nice to plan things around Spring and enjoy the outdoors. Jeff and I are looking forward to picking up some sandwiches and enjoying some time at a park--something we did a lot while dating. I just love this time of year when you feel your whole mood shift!

That's really about it from our household. I'll try to be a better blogger. :)

My turn for "Sorry for the Delay"... Today I read about the roses (my hubster took note, but said after 5 years, 2 dozen were overkill and not to get ideas, or words to that effect). Jeff rocks.

Scrubbing floors AND prego?? Man-O-Man. Beyond the call of duty!!! My only comment is, more pics of the new dark hair AND the blue eyes. I wanna see that Pop!!!

As for the DY, he's a mess, no doubt about it. And I'm still working on Dad to bring a cousin into the family, Yorkie style.. if you catch my drift!!! Or would that technically be a nephew/niece, and once removed???!!

And finally, our house news. Ater 3 days of snow last week, it hit 85 degrees. (Ya gotta love that TX weather.) The irrigation system installation was delayed, but worth the wait. And my new shrubs and poseys are all in the ground!! Tomorrow I'm down to just 2 flats of petunias to plant in the flower pots. People actually slow down and cop a look at the new and improved Firebrick!!!

Happy to hear spring time is around the corner..Your idea of sandwiches and the park makes me think of your engagement video..Neat!!!

Love you,
