Tomorrow and Jeff and I are heading out for a short trip to Las Vegas. Jeff is attending a dental convention out there, so I decided to tag along so that he didn't have to drive out there alone. When I say short, I mean short. We leave tomorrow (Sunday) for an all-day driving adventure. Then Monday he is at the convention all day while I become very aquainted with the inside of our hotel room (thank goodness for laptops and portable work loads!), and then Tuesday we'll probably wake up, go to a breakfast buffet (assuming that I feel I can handle the sight of breakfast food--they've been a little bit of a struggle the last few months--damn those McDonald's and Carl's Junior breakfast burrito ads!), and then we'll head back home.
I'm not 100% looking forward to the trip, but it will be nice to spend some uninterrupted time with my hubby. He loves Las Vegas, even if it's not much of a vacation this time. Plus, I'm sure we'll have time to do a little of our favorites in Vegas. Jeff and I have been there 3 or 4 times together. We'd go there when we were dating for a quick getaway. Ahh! The memories!
Good thing we're not staying at the Monte Carlo!
