Belly Pics

I think my watermelon is growing! What do you think?

Yeah, the baby bump has begun! Okay, it looks a little like a beer belly, but I'll take it!

The good news of the day is that I think (I hate to say it because I feel like I'm going to jinx myself) I am feeling a wee bit better. Yesterday was the first day in months that finding something to eat wasn't as much of a battle as it has been. I wouldn't say that I 100% love food again, but I'm on the right track. I think that as this slowly improves, perhaps everything else will as well. Not having to stress about eating will in turn lower my anxiety levels, eating food (and hopefully soon some more nutritious food) will decrease this "blah" feeling (I'm so sick of the third-grader diet!), and (cross your fingers) perhaps give me a little more energy. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it! Jeff and I even ran some errands for a couple of hours yesterday, and guess what? I survived. There were a few iffy moments, but for the most part a pleasant experience. Hopefully my 17th week will prove to be the divider line between crummy and "better." That's all I hope for. I'm not even going to ask for "good." Just "better."

In other news, my big pillow arrived this week, and I love it. It's not helping me with my inability to consistently sleep (I toss, turn, and have potty breaks all night), but the first night I used it, my lower back pain was gone! I'm loving it. It wraps around me like a cloud, and give my back, hips, (and one day big belly) lots of support. What it's done for my lower back though has already caused me to recommend it to some other pregos. I have wanted to post a pic with me in it, but Jeff is not a fan of it, and since he's my only photographer..... Milo is not a big fan of it either. It prevents him from being able to snuggle up to mom's chest or lower back. His two favorite places to sleep. The other night he laid on the outside of it, put his little head on the pillow and just whimpered. It was kind of sad. He sleeps with Jeff most the night now, but every now and then I'll wake up with a dorkie yorkie on top of me. He may only weigh 6 lbs, but it seems like a lot more!
Side Note: The posting editor is having trouble reading my formats today (such as paragraph breaks), what I post looks nothing like what ends up on the page. After a half hour of trying to fix it, I give up!
